I am interested in the organization of natural resource management in past political entities, with a special focus on animal husbandry. For my Ph.D. project, I will concentrate on animal management during the rise of the Wari Empire (modern day Peru), with attention given to both the reconstruction of subsistence economies and the societal context of animal use.

Prior to joining Stanford, I have received both my B.A. (2013) and M.A. (2016) in Archaeology from the University of Warsaw, Poland. During the 2014/2015 academic year I worked for one semester as the intern at the University of Florida. I participated in archaeological excavations and field surveys in Peru, Bulgaria, Poland and Georgia.
