Marianne Robison

President, Buttner Properties

Marianne Robison is the President of Buttner Properties, a family-owned commercial real estate firm based in Oakland.  She earned her bachelor’s degree at Stanford and a master’s degree in history at The Ohio State University.  Marianne Robison has been a secondary school teacher and real estate developer.  She has served on the boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Oakland, the Oakland Museum, the Pardee Home Museum and maintained membership in the League of Women Voters.  She is a 14-time participant in Stanford Alumni study trips, as well as an Archaeological Institute trip to Turkey.  The Stanford trips have visited stops on the Silk Road in Mongolia, China and Iran.  Other study trips have included Peru, Burma and Germany.
