In an effort to promote the diversity of perspectives and heritages that are fundamental to the future of archaeology, TAG 2020 Stanford will offer registration at reduced rates for both scholars and students from historically underrepresented groups, as well as first-generation college/university students and faculty at designated minority-serving institutions (MSIs). We also recognize the crucial role TAG can play in the development of early careers and the fundamental contributions such scholars make toward advancing the discipline; reduced registration rates are also available for early career postdoctoral scholars without full-time or permanent positions (i.e., contingent and adjunct faculty, independent scholars).

Our goal is to be as inclusive as possible. In addition to those listed by the SAA (listed here and here), we recognize other underrepresented groups (e.g., LGBTQ+ community) and consider that underrepresentation can take many forms in an international context. Feel free to email us at email@example.com for any questions or clarification.
For individual cases in need of assistance with registration fees, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org
