craft production, technological developments, and burial customs

I focus on Archaeology of Neolithic China. My interests lie in craft production, technological developments, and burial custom of the Yellow River Valley. Other research interests include petrographic analysis and archaeometallurgy. I worked on ceramic and metal materials from burials in Ban Chiang, Thailand; and ceramic materials from the island of Crete, and from Woodland Garden in West Philadelphia. I participated in excavations in Shandong, Gansu, China, and in Northern Israel.
