My focus expands primarily over bridging the gap between qualitative concepts and quantitative data, potentially by using emerging new materialist theories to analyze archaeological ceramic networks in the context of east India. My field experiences in the region have further strengthened my resolve to introduce new ways of ceramic data collection and simulation to trace the multi-dimensionality of site formation processes, ranging across the interactions of diverse human- “more-than-human” entities and producing the present day archaeological sites.

I have completed my MA from the Department of Archaeology, University of Calcutta, followed by internships at the same institution and recently, at the Excavation Branch-I, Archaeological Survey of India. I love a good old canvas and color day, with brief recesses for a book or a manga and some quiet Bollywood music.
