David Sherman

David Sherman III – David is Managing Director – St. Louis, of TDC Companies, a financial adviser and provider of innovative wealth planning products and services for ultra-net-worth families.  Prior thereto, David was President of Paramount Liquor Company, a family-owned distributor of wine, spirits and malt products throughout the state of Missouri.

Before his career in the alcoholic beverage industry, David practiced corporate law for seven years in Atlanta, Paris and New York.  He holds an A.B. in Classical Languages from Stanford University, a B.A. in Law from Oxford University, and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

 

David is a member of the Advisory Board of Stanford University’s Archaeological Center, a member of the Board of The Woodhall School, a past President of Temple Emanuel in St. Louis, past Chairman of the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America, and has served on the Boards of the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Foundation, St. Louis Children’s Hospital, Grand Center, The Repertory Theater, Community School, and Laumeier Sculpture Park.

 

David and his wife, Susan, have two children, Sylvie (AB Stanford ’16), age 27, and Keil, age 24.
