Audrey Hsi

Audrey received her BA in Biology and Anthropology from Middlebury College in 2022. In her undergraduate honors thesis, she looked at the shifting population base lines of fur-bearing mammals during the North American Fur Trade in New England, exploring genetic diversity of beavers using an interdisciplinary approach of zooarchaeological and molecular biological methods.

At Stanford, she is specializing in zooarchaeology, molecular anthropology and paleoecology to uncover the ecological history of Mauritius focusing on invasive mammals and their human-animal relationships through time.
