Like artifacts, museums, or public history? Stanford University Archaeology Collections is hiring 1–2 Special Project Assistants for the Stanford Archaeology Center @ 20 anniversary showcase exhibit opening Winter 2022.

WHEN: Winter Quarter 2022, 4-5 hours/week 

HOW MUCH: $17.15 per/hour

WHERE: In person on campus at the Stanford University Archaeology Collections (SUAC) and Stanford Archaeology Center (SAC), with occasional computer-based work that can be done remotely.

WHAT: 

The assistants will help SUAC staff develop and install a new artifact exhibit at the Archaeology Center to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. The exhibit will showcase select student and faculty work with the Center’s museum collections. The assistants will contribute by reviewing museum records, documenting objects, editing written and visual material for exhibition, and assisting in design, object handling, logistics, and installation. They may also assist with graphic design solutions, sourcing images, securing copyright or other permissions, or our digital kiosk.
