Workshops

The Stanford Archaeology Center Workshop is held 2 to 3 times per quarter on Thursday evenings, 5pm – 7pm. This interdisciplinary weekly lecture series is structured for researchers at all stages of their academic careers and provides a place for reflections on current scholarship and a platform through which to develop research agendas for the future. Each Workshop features an invited speaker who presents a colloquium-style research lecture, which is followed by open discussion. Workshop speakers are selected by a faculty committee led by the Assistant Director. Workshop events are simulcast on Zoom to facilitate broad participation.
