Abstract

This presentation outlines three case studies from the MACH project, which I have directed since 2008, working with an international team of colleagues and local community. Focusing on maritime heritage, labouring peoples, and vector borne disease, I outline how archaeological results are being integrated into valorisation initiative and policy development, as well as predictive modelling, all emphasizing an applied approach to archaeological research.
