Peer Advisors

The undergraduate peer advisor role is a year-long position held by an undergraduate archaeology major. The peer advisor holds regular office hours to meet with majors, minors, and prospective students for both the major and archaeology field schools. The peer advisor may also:

  • Host quarterly major/minor dinners
  • Participate in campus outreach for the center at events like Majors Night, Admit Weekend, and the field school fair
  • Organize interest clubs (e.g. the flintknapping club) 
  • Work with undergraduates to generate suggestions for 1-2 speakers per year at our weekly talks
  • ...and more!
